Hello Camper Families,
We are preparing for an incredible weekend at winter camp with your students, as we leave for Hume SoCal next Friday, March 1st!! We want to be sure that you all have the necessary info to have your camper ready and excited for this awesome weekend trip.
Here are some things to accomplish before we leave next Friday.
FINAL PAYMENT AND HUME REGISTRATION- DUE BY FEB. 24th!
If you have not made your final payment or completed your Hume registration through Hume Lake’s website please do so ASAP!

Departure/Arrival
Here are the details for our weekend together:
Please be at the church no later than 1:30pm Friday afternoon to begin the check in process for camp. We will be labeling luggage and completing a medical screening for all students and leaders before getting on the bus. We plan to leave the church by 2:00pm to make our way up the mountain.
Hume SoCal is located in Green Valley Lake. Address is: 32355 Green Valley Lake Rd., Green Valley Lake, CA 92341
We will be picked up by the bus Sunday at 12:30pm to make the trip home. We should be arriving back at church between 3:00 and 4:00 pm depending on traffic.
Packing List: At the very bottom of this email there is a full packing list to help ensure your student has everything they need for this awesome weekend at camp. We should have a decent amount of snow, but fluctuating temperatures. Prepare for wearing layers!
Spiritual Focus:
This winter, we will be walking through the book of Ecclesiastes. Our hope for students is that they leave understanding that although many of us look for meaning and purpose in this world, it is only through Christ that we will find true meaning and purpose, as we understand what it means to fear God and obey His commands.

Chapel:
All students and counselors will attend Chapel each morning and night. In chapel we will worship, listen to a sermon, and then have cabin discussion time. This is where students learn and grow in their walk with the Lord.
We are so grateful to be taking your students to Hume Winter Camp and we can’t wait to see all that the Lord does through this camp and the incredible memories that will be made there together. We are praying that our students come home with hearts on fire for Jesus and tons of stories to share with you.
